CRH Receives Donated Baby Items

Area churches held a "baby shower" with hundreds of babies in mind - the hundreds that are delivered in Washington County hospitals that is. Members of St. Johns Catholic Church, Pembroke; St. Josephs Catholic Church, Eastport; Christ Episcopal Church, Eastport; Eastport Congregational Church; Pembroke United Methodist Church; and Dennsyville Congregational Church each held a baby shower and brought gifts that a new baby and his/her family might need. All of the items were then split between Calais Regional Hospital and Down East Community Hospital in Machias. The donated baby items are given to families in need who have a newborn delivery at one of the facilities. Donna Jamieson of Dennysville organized this tremendous event. Linda Gralenski of the Pembroke United Methodist Church delivered the above items to Calais Regional Hospital |
