Calais Regional Hospital welcomed the first baby of the new year on January 3, 2012. Ellery Roland Dow arrived at 1:49 p.m. weighing 7 lbs. 13 oz. Proud parents are Meredith Royer and Jeremy Dow of Calais. Baby Ellery was presented with gifts from the hospital. Congratulations to the new parents.
