Position Title: Hospitalist

Department:
Position Description: The employed physicians will provide direct care to inpatient acute and special/critical care patients and perform outpatient care and procedures within their scope of privilege, i.e., EKG and stress test interpretations. Physicians will consult on and treat patients referred by surgeons and provide care for unassigned patients. Activities include patient teaching and leadership related to hospital care.
Potential schedule of 24 hour coverage 7 days on 7 days off.
The above wage range reflects the minimum, midpoint and maximum hourly rate for this position. New employees are hired between the minimum and midpoint of this range. The initial wage offered will be based on qualifications and experience.

    Qualifications:
    Education:Graduate of an accredited school of medicine.
    License Required: Maine physician license and DEA registration or immediate eligibility for, Board Certification or Eligible in Family Practice or Internal Medicine.
